This site first opened early in 2000. It started out as a hobby site for me.. I was collecting older fly fishing items, and would sometimes end up buying full tackle boxes or large lots just to get a few items that I wanted. Instead of just saving the links as 'favorites', the original idea was to upload the links to some of the early fishing collector sites that I was using for my own research and share them on the internet for others... to create a central site for the research.

The site was lost to me for some time and ended up as a 'parked site', one of the useless sites with nothing but ad links. I have managed to get it back and I am in the process of rebuilding it. I will link to some of the good informational sites in the category of 'fishing antiques. It will be broken down into antique fishing lures, vintage fly fishing items, rods, reels, lures, wooden lures, and more as I find links.
